Staging in Boulder

April 29, 2010 § Leave a comment

Take a look at this before and after stage of  a beautiful craftsman style home in Boulder, Colorado. This is a sneak peak because the house is not yet on the market. I’ll post the whole link when it is listed. For now we will just take a look at the cozy conversation area of the living room. One important guideline in staging is to pay attention to the style and architecture of the home. You can still add contemporary styling to a traditional style home, just keep it coordinated and consistent. In this stage blue adds subtle accent to the beige, brown, and white  of the flooring, trim, and walls. Texture such as the linen material of the sofas, silky sheen of the pillows, glittery glass lamps, and rough aged bronze accessories provide a nice mix of hard and soft materials. These guidelines can apply to any interiors. You could get this look for about $1600 total, but you’ll have to contact me to get the details.

I’ve got lots more to come on my most recent jobs including 5 model homes in North Boulder, a redesign in Denver, and a Westminster split level, and some Deals of the Month. Tune in next week.
