Staging Before and After

Here are some before and after photos of a condo I recently staged. We did some remodeling, replaced the torn linoleum with tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. The laminate on the counters were replaced with a new stone like version, and tile backsplash was added. The cabinets over the range with the lovely wood panel on the back were taken down to open up the space dramatically. There is a big pantry in the kitchen so loosing two small cabinets was not a big loss. Those changes make the unit look about 10 years newer.
The faucet was updated to a pull out type which works great in small spaces. A wipe down with Old English Oil revived the cabinets. It would be ideal to have black or stainless appliances with the dark cabinets but the owners just purchased a new white refrigerator and chose to stick with the white theme (Tip: white appliances are more cost effective than black or stainless. If you have white appliances you can also paint your cabinets white to match.)
Adding some decorative accents complete the kitchen and make it feel more homey.
